Photos below are of Parrakeet Model A-4C wings built by John "Doc" Anderson for Rose
Parrakeet S/N 103, NC14843 in late 70's. Photos were taken by Don Pellegreno in late 1999, after he had uncovered the twenty year old restoration work for inspection and recovering. Builders should note that
Rhinehart Rose Parrakeet Model A-4C was structurally designed for an O-200 engine and "Aerobatic" certification. For this reason, A-4Cs have thicker (5/8" front & rear) wing spars than the previous Rose
Parrakeet A-1s or A-4s. Photos courtesy of Don Pellegreno.
Final three photos are from Larry DeCamp's restoration of Rose Parrakeet S/N 106, NC14866. Wing attachments built to A-4C drawings. Photos
courtesy of Larry DeCamp.
Please Note: Hannaford Aircraft Model D-1 plans reflect spar widths consistent with Rose Parrakeet Model A-4 not Rhinehart Rose Model A-4C.
Labels on photos still in progress. Many are generic and not specifically
descriptive.
